Mahira Khan is currently busy and does not have ample time to meet her ‘Humsafar’ Fawad Khan, according to the latter.
Mahira Khan has made it big in Pakistan and abroad for her acting prowess and good looks. Her smash-hit drama serial with Fawad Khan enabled her to bag a coveted spot alongside none other than Bollywood’s Shah Rukh Khan. Mahira, who is shooting for Raees with the Fan actor, has no time for Fawad Khan.
“Badi star ke paas, hum jaise chhote logon ke liye time nahin hoga,” said Fawad jokingly, when a leading Indian daily asked him if he had met with her in India. (Esteemed celebrities like her would not have time for me).
“We did meet once last year in Mumbai. But our schedules are tight now. She’s a busy person shooting a big film,” said the Kapoor and Sons actor.
Fawad Khan also spoke about how there was no bitter competition among Bollywood, since he had gotten along with everyone he had the privilege of working with so far.
“I think the current generation of actors focuses more on improving their own craft rather than bringing down each other. There is no bitter competition at play. I genuinely have gotten along with everyone I have worked with so far, ” he said.
Fawad Khan’s Kapoor and Sons is in theatres and doing quite well. The movie has generated positive reviews and critics have given Fawad’s character a thumbs up. The Pakistani heartthrob plays a homosexual author in the movie, who returns home to find that his parents’ marriage is falling apart.- MD
