During a working visit to Ashgabat, Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay, headed by his country’s delegation, met with Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Atdayev within the framework of the 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish Commission on Economic Cooperation, held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, ORIENT reported. During the meeting, issues of cooperation in many areas, such as trade, transport, energy, agriculture and education, were discussed. At the end of the meeting, the signing ceremony of bilateral agreements took place.
In a statement to the local press, Oktay said he was working intensively with the Turkmen delegation and said: “Our relations have been good so far, but from now on they will continue to gain momentum. Our relations in the economic, trade, transport, cultural and social spheres will become even more active.”
