Kyrgyzstan plans to resettle 1,500 ethnic Kyrgyz from Afghanistan

In two years from 2022 to 2024 it is planned to resettle 1,500 ethnic Kyrgyz (400 families) from the territory of the Little and Great Pamir to Afghanistan, Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan Kudaibergen Bazarbaev said during a press conference at Kabar News Agency. Thus, it is planned to spend KGS 244 million 530 thousand for works in this direction. The minister noted that President Sadyr Zhaparov focuses on the issue of improvement of ethnic Kyrgyz. Kudaibergen Bazarbaev added that KGS 77 million 220 thousand will be allocated for construction of houses for ethnic Kyrgyz in 2022. These funds will be used to build 30 houses on the territory of Kashka-Suu village (70 hectares) in Osh Oblast. – Kabar
