An official reception on behalf of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov for Presidents of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held.
The reception took place in Rukh Ordo cultural center as part of the Fourth Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of Central Asia in Cholpon-Ata town, Issyk-Kul Oblast. Concert program was presented for the distinguished guests. The heads of state were shown the performance Triumph of Friendship.
Colorful performances of variety artists, dance ensembles and actors clearly demonstrated the historical friendship, harmony, comprehensive cooperation and cultural and social interaction of Central Asian countries: Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
Sadyr Zhaparov warmly welcomed the guests and noted that the peoples of Central Asia have always lived side by side, in peace and harmony, sharing all the gifts that the fertile land of this region provides.
The Kyrgyz leader emphasized that today’s Consultative Meeting once again demonstrated the unity of the Central Asian countries and agreement on further regional cooperation.
The president, recalling the signing of a strategic document – the Treaty of Friendship, Good-Neighborliness and Cooperation for the Development of Central Asia in the XXI century – expressed confidence that it will strengthen the foundation for future cooperation between the countries of the region, define new horizons for cooperation and will serve the well-being and prosperity of Central Asia.
