Afghan Businesses Buy 3,000 Tons of Turkmen Diesel Via Exchange

Afghan businesses procured 3,000 tons of diesel L-0,2-62 during the Tuesday trades at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET).
The price of the Turkmen diesel rose by 21.4% compared to previous auctions and amounted to $1,208.75 per ton. The total amount of the transaction is $3.6 million, the SCRMET announced on Wednesday.
Afghan companies also bought 750 tons of liquefied natural gas for $439.5 thousand. During the trades, its price increased by 3.5% to $586 per ton compared to the previous auction. Companies from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased a total of 1,000 tons of unleaded A-98 gasoline at $1,121 per ton. The total sum of the deals exceeded $1.1 million. For the domestic market, local businesses purchased 22 tons of high density polyethylene of T60-475-119 brand for a total amount of 396 thousand manats, and handmade Turkmen carpets for 2.3 thousand manats. On Tuesday, the SCRMET registered 14 deals with a total sum of $5.1 million and 398.3 thousand Turkmen manats.
