ISLAMABAD, July 29: Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali took over the charge as Chairman of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC). In his first tenure, PARC being an apex agriculture research organization played a leading role in agriculture R&D initiatives for ensuring food security. Under his leadership, PARC successfully achieved to resolve number of outstanding issues relating to finance and employees.
Earlier as Chairman PARC, Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali also distinguished himself as a thorough professional, a diligent and hardworking agri. scientist, having a firm grip on Agri. Research & administrative affairs. Presently, Dr. Ali’s main responsibility lies in the interaction with policy makers, international centers and development partners for planning R&D activities in high priority areas. – PR
