TAXILA, February 16: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that Daesh is an Arab organization which is present in North Africa and Middle East. He said top hierarchy of Daesh did not exist in Pakistan. He said in Pakistan over 45 terrorist organizations are working. He said whosoever including Maulana Abdul Aziz will break the law action would be taken against him. He said Foreign Office would formally contact India to seek permission for the visit of special investigation team as answers to many questions and links can be identified there.
While talking to media persons in Taxila Chaudhry Nisar said sometimes terrorist organizations are completely eliminated and sometimes start work again, adding that these organizations are using the name of Daesh. He said these terrorist organizations are working in Pakistan from a long time, adding that some people are arrested from Sialkot, Karachi and Peshawar. He said that the people were also arrested from Daska. He said that why we are trying to prove the existence of Daesh in Pakistan. He said Pakistani security and intelligence agencies are taking action against terrorist organizations. He said mentioning the name of these organizations is like promoting them. He said some people are saying Daesh is present and some are saying Daesh is not present in Pakistan. He said that all the terrorist organizations are on the target of security agencies and are on the run.
He said that name of sect being used by Daesh does not exist in Pakistan, adding that why we are promoting the name of the terrorists. He said if the media stops publishing the names of the politicians then half of our politics will be finished.
He said army chief enjoys full support of military and government. He said prime minister will make the decision regarding next army chief according to merit. He said this debate is premature. Nisar sad not taking extension is the decision of General Raheel himself. – SABAH
