ISLAMABAD, January 10: Utility Store Corporation (USC) has decided to purchase 10,000 metric tons of sugar from sugar mills in order to pave the ways for increasing the plunging sale of sugar.
According to documents, Madina and Indus sugar mills have expressed their willingness for the sale of sugar on comparatively lower rates against the tenders announced by USC.
USC will purchase sugar at the cost of 52.90 per kg and sell up to Rs 60/kg.
