MQMISLAMABAD, April 14: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) parliamentarians on Thursday staged a walkout from the National Assembly over detention of their workers in Karachi
While talking to media outside Parliament House on Thursday, MQM Lawmaker Siddique Baloch claimed that a targeted operation has been launched against the MQM in Karachi and over 100 party workers have been detained during the last one week.
Siddique alleged that the party has not been informed about the plight of its detained workers.
Later, Opposition Leader in NA Syed Khurshid Shah negotiated with MQM members and brought them back to the session. -Online
