Imran-Farooq-640x480ISLAMABAD, April 21: An Anti-Terrorism Court judge has refused to hear the murder case of slain Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Dr Imran Farooq, after an exchange of heated words in the courtroom on Thursday.
ATC judge Kosar Abbas Zaidi was hearing the case when the counsels of the accused exchanged hot words with the judge.
Counsel Mansoor Afridi said, “The court was doing the job of prosecutor, and neither challan nor evidences were presented against the accused yet.”
After the arguments, the ATC judge remarked that he could not hear the case further and referred it to Islamabad High Court.
Later, Judge Kosar Abbasi left the courtroom and went to his chamber.-Agencies
