JHELUM, April 28: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif Thursday witnessed the ongoing maneuver exercise of a Corps, near Jhelum. The exercise is being conducted in an overall framework of effectively repulsing enemy offensive through integrated application of artillery, air and combat aviation firepower, ISPR news release stated. COAS expressed complete satisfaction over the high standard of operational preparedness and appreciated the professional skills displayed by the participating troops. Earlier on arrival, the COAS was received by Lieutenant General Ikram Ul Haq Commander 30 Corps and Major General Sarfraz Sattar General Officer Commanding 8 Division. -DNA
