
PESHAWAR, May 2: A meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly parliamentary leaders was held here on Monday to discuss the projects to be completed in the province under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Chief Minister Pervez Khan Khattak chaired the meeting and was attended by parliamentary leaders of both the opposition and coalition parties.
Addressing on the occasion, CM Khattak said that the government and opposition parties are on the same page over the CPEC projects. He said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will stand for its rights in CPEC.
The meeting decided to meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and demand due share for KP in the projects to be completed under CPEC. It was also decided that written agreement will be signed with the federal government so that the federal government could not deceive the province again.
The meeting also decided to present a resolution in KP assembly for the rights of the province in CPEC.-Sabah
