Zakaullah visits Malaysia to discuss bilateral naval collaboration

Islamabad January 18 : Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah is on an official visit to Malaysia to discuss bilateral naval collaboration.
During the visit, the Naval Chief called on Minister of Defence – MrHishamuddin Hussein, Chief of Defence Forces – General Zulkifeli Bin MohdZin and Chief of Royal Malaysian Navy, Admiral Ahmad Kamar ul zaman Ahmad Badaruddin Monday.
The Naval Chief was received by his counterpart Admiral Ahmad Kamer ul zaman Ahmad Badaruddin. A ceremonial Guard of Honour was also presented to the Naval Chief on the occasion.
During the meeting, Admiral Zakaullah dilated upon bilateral naval collaboration. Pakistan’s commitment and performance in fight against terrorism including participation in CMCP and Counter Piracy Operations as well as Command of multinational Task Forces 150 and 151 also came under discussion.
During Naval Chief’s meetings with Minister of Defence and Chief of Defence Forces, matters of mutual interest and bilateral defense collaboration were discussed. The Naval Chief highlighted significance of close and strong relations based on mutual respect and understanding between Pakistan and Malaysia.It is expected that recent visit of the Naval Chief will enhance and expand collaboration between the two countries.-Online
