PTIISLAMABAD, May 24 : The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Tuesday moved an adjournment motion in the National Assembly, calling for a discussion on drone strikes.
The adjournment motion has been signed by various PTI members including Shireen Mazari and Nafeesa Khattak.
The motion was put forward after US authorities claimed to have killed a Taliban leader in Balochistan in a drone strike.
According to the document, Pakistan needs to strengthen its foreign policy and defence strategies.
In this regard, the adjournment motion called the statement issued by the Pakistan Foreign Office ‘meaningless’, saying the federal government needs to protect its territory and airspace and provide clarity on Pakistan’s Afghan Policy.-Online
