No one can disrupt Pak-China friendship: Dr. Ishratul Ebad

KARACHI, June 6: Governor Sindh Dr.Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has said that no one can disrupt or hinder Pak-China friendship as it is based on mutual trust and sincerity. The people of both countries have a close knitted bond which is never affected with the change of governments or circumstances.
He stated while talking with a 5-member delegation of Chinese People’s Friendship Association with Foreign Countries at Governor House. He said that this friendship is tested time and again and has always succeeded as both countries have always supported each other in time of need.
Dr. Ebad said that China Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) is another proof of close ties and cooperation between the two countries which is mutually beneficial to China and Pakistan. It would ensure supply of raw material and easy access to new markets to China and also trigger a new era of progress and prosperity in Pakistan, he observed.
The Governor Sindh said that CPEC would also ensure accelerated industrial productivity and generate numerous jobs in various sectors. Special emphasis is being laid on providing security to Chinese working here while a special security unit has also been established in Sindh police for the same,he said. The Governor Sindh said that exchange of cultural delegations would help the people of both countries to understand each other even more.
The planed Grand Chinese Festival for November this year in Port Grand is a commendable step in this regard as it would provide an opportunity to both sets of people to come even closer, he opined. He also assured every help and assistance in successful holding of this festival. President Port Grand Shahid Feroze and Faisal Baig were also present on the occasion.- DNA
