ISLAMABAD, July 11: Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Monday termed Indian atrocities on Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir as condemnable and deplorable. He said that Kashmir dispute is needed to be resolved, adding that Pakistan is ready for holding dialogues. He said Pakistan will raise voice at every international forum against the Indian atrocities on Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir. He said India could not harm the movement of Kashmiris through atrocities of armed forces. He said Pakistani government is committed to Kashmir dispute and this issue is present in the list of basic issues for holding dialogues with India.
Talking to a private TV channel, he said such acts are violation of fundamental human rights of Kashmiris and cannot deter the people of Jammu and Kashmir from their demand for the realization of the right to self-determination.
Sartaj Aziz said that it has been shown by Kashmiris that they only demand freedom and liberty whereas India is continuously spreading chaos in the region.
He clarified that Pakistan is stick to its stance regarding Kashmir’s independence as no other solution is effective in this regard. He also pledged to raise voice against Indian brutality in Kashmir at international forum. He said India instead of awarding freedom to Kashmiris is trying to suppress the voice of Kashmiris from last many years through use of force. He said that the peace in South Asia is linked with the resolution of Kashmir dispute. Meanwhile in an interview with “Radio Pakistan” Sartaj Aziz said that India is committing gross violation of basic human rights while suppressing the voice of Kashmiris through use of force. He said Pakistan wants to resolve all outstanding issues with India though composite dialogue process.
Replying a question he said Pakistan is providing every possible assistance for the Afghan reconciliation process, adding that peace in Afghanistan is necessary for peace in region and Pakistan. He said Pakistan is taking indiscriminate action against all the terrorists in operation Zarb-e-Azb.-Sabah
