The new-look Mian Nawaz Sharif has got himself photographed and installed, in the latest edition of the PML (N) advertising blitz. It is an advertisement regarding the Black Day being observed in protest against the Indian atrocities committed recently in the held-Kashmir, and continue to be committed.
This ‘new-look’ Prime Minister has grown fresh hair on his head which gives him a youngish appearance. Didn’t the Cardiac hospital in London do a great job in one-go— got his heart go through the hazardous process of four by-passes quite as easily as treating a mild flu— and in the process also managed to grow fresh hair on his head?
The medical science has indeed entered an era of boundless miracles. Will anyone dig out the name of the surgeon who performed the miracle mentioned above?
One wonders if a miracle of similar nature can be ‘managed’ to cure the Prime Minister of the ailment of Panama Leaks—- and of the continuous strain caused by the determination of General Raheel Sharif to take his fight against terrorism and the related ills to the very end!
Some ‘medical’ advisers of the Prime Minister are convinced that he needs only to stretch his present period of ‘forced’ and unforced rest till September to ensure his full recovery.
That may turn out to be a false hope. Even an erratic strategy. You never know what the Plans of the Providence are, or will be.
Still it goes to the credit of the Prime Minister that he has, for once, put aside his fascination with the idea of building bridges with Modi’s India, and come out with a strong statement against India’s atrocities in Kashmir.
The question that arises here, and that needs to be answered is: CAN A STATEMENT (OR TWO) BE A BEFITTING SUBSTITUTE FOR A SUSTAINED POLICY?
