LAHORE, August 26: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Friday termed Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif as a facilitator of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, further stating that those who uttered anti-Pakistan statements and those who served as their facilitators should be tried under Article-6 of the constitution.
Shujaat Hussain lambasted the PM and stated that he (Prime Minister Nawaz) cannot be declared inncocent after he simply issued a single statement in response to MQM chief’s shameful remarks. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had failed to secure national interests.
“PM proved through his reaction that he served as a facilitator in the whole case and tried to protect the culprits,” the PML-Q leader said, further adding that PM Nawaz took oath to safeguard the country’s integrity but failed doing so.
Hussain demanded a trial according to the constitution against those who uttered disgraceful words against Pakistan’s sovereignty, its integrity and national security along with the PM who did not took action against such individuals. – NNI
