  • Aasiya Andrabi says India trying to divide IHK on sectarian lines

SRINAGAR, January 28: In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (G), Syed Ali Geelani has said that India is carrying out genocide of innocent Kashmiris through its occupation army in the territory.
Syed Ali Geelani in a statement in Srinagar, Thursday, said that New Delhi was more interested in tourist resorts, waterfalls, mountains and rivers of Kashmir than its people. He took strong notice of unethical programmes being held in the name of culture in schools and colleges of the territory, and complained that India was undermining the morals of Kashmiri youth to strengthen its military occupation over Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India was trying to divide Jammu and Kashmir on sectarian lines through an exercise of intelligence gathering in the name of census in Kashmir. She said that private, illogical, and unnecessary questions were being asked in the census format.Hurriyet leaders Firdous Ahmad Shah, Mohammad Ramzan Khan, Farooq Ahmad Towhidee and Tehreek-e-Hurriyet activists during their visit to Islamabad district paid rich tributes to the martyred youth Mushtaq Ahmad Haroo. He was recently killed by in Indian troops in a fake encounter in Kokernag area of the district. The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League in a statement expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of its Chairman Mukhtar Waza, who is illegally detained at a police station in Islamabad district.-KMS
