Image result for abid sher aliGUJRANWALA, September 10: : Minister of State Abid Sher Ali has threatened to pelt the workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) with stones and bricks if they march to the residence of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind.
In the usual derogatory tone, Abid Sher said they will not to able to stop their workers from pelting stones at the workers of the PTI and Chairman Imran Khan. “Wherever Imran Khan goes, the fans of Nawaz Sharif will pelt him with stones,” he threatened.
He also said that Tahir-ul-Qadri was himself responsible for the killing of his workers in the Model Town incident. Fourteen people were killed and more than a hundred were injured when police attempted to remove a barrier outside the secretariat of the Minhaj-ul-Quran on 17 July 2014.
Abid Sher demanded that the name of Qadri showed be placed on the Exit Control List (ECL). He said that Qadri was an agent of RAW
who who instigating violence and anarchy in the country.
In response, PTI leader Imran Ismail responded to his comments and called them derogatory and shameful. He was speaking to ARY News where he said that people like Abid Sher will lead to the downfall of Nawaz Sharif.
He said that they are not involved in stealing the wealth of the nation, and vowed to give a befitting reply if they are pelted with stones. He said that the media cell operated by Maryam Nawaz were the brainchild behind such tactics.
He questioned whether Sharif family had bought the whole Raiwind city so they cannot hold a rally there. He vowed that the PTI will continue with plans for march Raiwind which is giving sleepless night to the government.-Agencies
