President Mamnoon HussainISLAMABAD, September 29: President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday said India is trying to destroy peace of the region by fanning jingoism.
In a statement, he strongly condemned India’s cross LoC firing and urged New Delhi not to put regional peace at risk.
The President said people of Pakistan and armed forces are one in defending the motherland. He said armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any aggression.
President’s remarks came when in a naked aggression Indian forces martyred two soldiers along the Line of Control in unprovoked firing in wee hours of Thursday.- Online
