ISLAMABAD, February 1: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has decided to give the government tough time, making his mind to highlight corruption scandals of the incumbent government worth of billion of rupees. Sources told Online that the opposition leader called an emergency meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Wednesday, directing Auditor General of Pakistan to attend the meeting. The meeting will review payment of 480 billion rupees in the head of circular debt. Secretary Water and Power and Secretary Finance are also summoned in the meeting. According to sources alleged corruption of 50 billion rupees in construction of Benazir Bhutto International Airport will also be discussed in the emergency session of the Public Accounts Committee. A parliamentary committee has submitted investigation report in the construction of new airport and highlighted embezzlement. The recent meeting is quite important in the current situation as more corruption cases against the government are expected to come out.-Online
