
ISLAMABAD, October 17: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday.
During the meeting they discussed matters pertaining to national and regional security.
Local media quoting sources said, in the meeting, the two leaders discussed three key issues that included Indian aggression at the Line of Control, security situation at western borders and implementation on National Action Plan (NAP).
The Army Chief briefed PM Nawaz over the success of operation Zarb-e-Azb and the plan of action by the security forces on the implementation on the NAP.
The Premier expressed confidence in the response given by the Pakistan security forces against Indian aggression at LoC.-Online
