An event on ‘Unity of Muslim Ummah’ was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement and was addressed by religious scholars of almost all schools of thought. The speakers said that one Prophet (PBUH), one Quran and one Ka’ba were sufficient for the unity of Muslim Ummah.
They called upon khateebs and religious scholars to promote unity from pulpit.
