HUB, November 13: DC Khuzdar Sohailur Rehamn has said that around 7-8 kilograms of explosives and ball bearings were used in the blast at Shah Noorani shrine and that the head of 18-year old attacker has been found which is possible to identify.He further informed that 25 people are still missing while 52 people have died and another 100 have been injured.
Meanwhile the Shrine has been closed till the completion of the investigations as shoes and other belongings of the shrine visitors remain scattered around the scene of the blast. A large number of women and children are among the dead and the injured.
The place looked like a scene of immense destruction after the blast with people madly searching for their near and dear ones.
Meanwhile, 36 bodies have been shifted to Civil Hospital, Karachi while 30 bodies have been handed over to the families. Six bodies remain unidentified still. Of the 40 injured people under treatment six are reported to be in critical condition while a large number of family members are present outside the hospital.
The relief works at the horrific scene of incident are being hindered by hard to reach terrain and lack of medical facilities.
Meanwhile, the funeral prayer of Karachi’s 11-year-old Abdur Rahman has been offered while Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has visited the Civil Hospital Karachi and asked the injured people about their well-being.-Sabah
