- Indian troops martyr three Kashmiri youth in Hajin
SRINAGAR, February 4 In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani has said that Jammu and Kashmir is a political dispute and Kashmiris are carrying out an indigenous struggle to secure their inalienable right to self-determination.
Syed Ali Geelani in a statement in Srinagar maintained that the people of Kashmir are peace-loving in nature and are using peaceful means to continue their struggle. But India, he added, never recognized their peaceful right. He asked the world community to take serious steps towards resolution of the Kashmir dispute. The octogenarian leader pointed out that if the Kashmiris were given a chance to decide their future, every Kashmiri would cooperate in every respect the action plan which would be agreed upon by India, Pakistan, world community and the Kashmiris.
Hurriyet leaders Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, Muhammad Musaddiq Aadil, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Hakeem Abdur Rasheed, Mir Shahid Saleem, Muhammad Ramzan Khan and Bilal Siddiqui in their statements thanked the people and the government of Pakistan for observing the 5th February as Kashmir Solidarity Day. The leaders said that Pakistan was rightfully playing its role for settlement of the Kashmir dispute.
Meanwhile, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three Kashmiri youth at Hajin in Bandipora district, Thursday. The troops killed the youth during a siege and search operation at Khosa Mohalla of Hajin area of the district. During the violent operation Indian forces blasted a house of Sana Ullah Butt in the area also.-KMS
