ISLAMABAD , February 4: Member National Assembly Isphanyar Bhandara has said that Kashmiris should have the right to self-determination. He said that the Kashmir dispute has been a bone of contention between Pakistan and India for the longest time and until this problem is resolved, the region cannot have lasting peace. He said that according to the UN declaration, the people of Kashmir have the right to decide their own future and India should respect their right to self-determination.
Expressing his support for the people of Kashmir on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, Bhandara said that the entire nation of Pakistan stands with Kashmiri brethren and peaceful protest will continue until they get the right to self determination. He further added that a peaceful solution will not only give the right to self determination to the people of Kashmir but also help improve relations between Pakistan and India. This will ensure peace in the region and start a new chapter of socio- economic development.-PR
