KURRAM AGENCY, March 1: A suspected US drone strike killed two men on Thursday in a village in Kurram Agency, near the Afghanistan border.
According to details, this was the first drone strike in 2017 and now the US drone attacks numbers reached to 323. According to media reports the political administration has confirmed the killing of two persons in drone attack but their identification hadn’t disclosed so far. The missile struck two men riding a motorcycle in Kurram Agency, part of the country’s tribal areas. It was worth mentioning here that during the period of 2005 to 2016 the total figure of drone attacks had reached to 322. On the other hand the Frontier corps has arrested several suspects during combine operation at Orakzai Agency. Officials told that operation has been conducted in FATA’s Orakzai agency and added that during the operation eight alleged terrorists were arrested. They said that heavy quantity of arms and weapons were also recovered during the search operation.-Online
