RAWALPINDI, March 29: ISPR Director General said on Wednesday that the role of Husain Haqqani in visa issuance had been confirmed. He reacted to the former US ambassador’s article in ‘The Washington Post’.
Major General Asif Ghafoor shared a tweet saying, “Views of Hussain Haqqani’s publication in a mainstream US newspaper especially his account on issue of visas vindicate stance of Pak s state institutions. The veracity of concerns about his role in the entire issue also stands confirmed.” Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) DG told that the role of Pakistan’s institutions in visa issuance matter stood vindicated, adding that the involvement of Husain Haqqani in issuing visas to US spies for Abbottabad operation had now been confirmed.-Agencies
