PESHAWAR, February 12: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak in collaboration with Pakistan Tobacco Company has distributed solar kits among three hundred families of Piran Bala District Nowshera. A special ceremony in this regard was held here at Chief Minister’s House Peshawar. Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation Mian Jamsheduddin, Parliamentary Secretary P&D Mian Khaliq-ur-Rehman, MPA Idrees Khattak, representatives of Pakistan Tobacco Company and residents of Piran Bala attended the ceremony. Addressing the ceremony, the Chief Minister extended thanks to Pakistan Tobacco Company for the provision of solar kits to the dwellers of Piran Bala. He also appreciated the welfare activities of the company in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pervez Khattak said that people of Piran Bala, would now have access to electricity through solar kits project worth Rs.10.2 million funded by Pakistan Tobacco Company. He also directed the public representatives to ensure proper installation and efficient utilization of solar kits.
Earlier, Asad Shah representative of Pakistan Tobacco Company highlighted salient features of the project planned for residents of Piran Bala, a disconnected village from the national grid.-PR
