RAWALPINDI, May 1: Pakistan Army has rejected allegations of killing two Indian soldiers and mutilating their bodies at Line of Control during Monday, according to ISPR.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has completely rejected the Indian allegations of violating LoC ceasefire and killing/mutilating bodies of Indian soldiers.
In a statement by ISPR DG Major General Asif Ghafoor, it was stated that Pakistan Army did not commit any ceasefire violation on Line of Control or a BAT action in Buttal sector as alleged by India.
Indian blame of mutilating Indian soldiers bodies is also false. Pakistan Army is a highly professional force and shall never disrespect a soldier even Indian, he added.
Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor rejected Indian claims of mutilating the bodies of soldiers from the neighbouring country. He told that Pak Army would never disrespect a soldier, even from India, as it is a highly professional force. It must be noted the Indian allegation has come at a time when Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is on India visit. Ahead of his travel to India, Erdogan commented on India-Pakistan Kashmir conflict by saying, “We should not allow more casualties to occur. By having a multi-lateral dialogue, (in which) we can be involved, we can seek ways to settle the issue once and for all. Pakistan Army is a highly professional force and shall never disrespect a soldier even Indian, the ISPR statement said. -NNI
