- Ceremony in honour of seven-member CGSS & APNS delegation visiting Beijing and Shanghai held

ISLAMABAD(Saleem Rais)Chinese investors are interested to invest in Pakistan and in this connection exchange of delegations on federal and provincial levels are being carried out between both the countries. This was disclosed during a reception given in honour of a seven-member Pakistani delegation by high-ranking officials of the Department of Information of Shanghai Municipal Government. They said that it is an honour for Chinese people to have friendly and good relations with Pakistan. And Chinese investors are interested to invest in Pakistan for the promotion of Pakistan’s economy. They said that Chinese people are with Pakistani people in every difficult time. On this occasion the officials of Shanghai Municipal Government has briefed the Pakistani delegation about the forthcoming visits of Chinese delegation to Islamabad and the provincial capitals.

The members of Pakistani delegation thanked the Chinese officials for their hospitality during their visit to Beijing and Shanghai. They said that Pakistan is a fit country for investments. They said that the investors are being given incentives for investment in Pakistan. They have expressed the hope that relations between the two countries will further be improved by their visits. A dinner was also hosted in honour of the Pakistani delegation. Earlier Pakistani delegation visited Shanghai Media Group office where the members were given warm welcome. It is to mention here that this institution is publishing more than twenty Newspapers and Magazines. Their publication is about 3.7 million daily and about 8,000 workers are employed with these newspapers and magazines. On this occasion Chinese and Pakistani officials discussed the promotion of relations between the media houses of both the countries.
It is to mention here that Maj Gen(R ) Masroor Ahmed, Col (R ) Khalid Taimoor, Ghulam Akbar, Ashfaq Gondal, Kazi Asad Abid, Dr. Tanvir Khalid and Head of CGSS in China, Shajiiee Chu are included in Pakistani delegation visiting Beijing and Shanghai.
