Since the time former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was disqualified by five-member bench of the Supreme Court, he has been critical of the court’s verdict as well as the judges, and also insinuated that military establishment was behind that move to get him disqualified. In one of his speeches he drew parallelism with Mujiab-ur-Rehman and said that despite having majority in 1970 elections, Sh. Mujib-ur-Rehman was not allowed to take oath as prime minister. But now he has gone too far to admit that Pakistanis were involved in Mumbai attacks, and questions as to why they were allowed to cross the border to kill 150 people in Mumbai. In an interview with national English daily he said: “We have isolated ourselves. Despite giving sacrifices, our narrative is not being accepted. Afghanistan’s narrative is being accepted, but ours is not. We must look into it.”
He continued: “Militant organisations are active. Call them non-state actors, should we allow them to cross the border and kill 150 people in Mumbai? Explain it to me. Why can’t we complete the trial?” It was a reference to the Mumbai attacks-related trials stalled in a Rawalpindi anti-terrorism court. Without naming Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar’s terror outfits – Jamaat-ud-Dawah and Jaish-e-Mohammad operating in the country with impunity, Nawaz Sharif said: “Militant organisations are active. Call them non-state actors, should we allow them to cross the border and kill 150 people in Mumbai?” The question is that he was at the helm since May 2013, what steps he had taken to expedite the proceedings of the trial”. In October 2013, then US president Barack Obama had asked him when he was prime minister as to why Pakistan had not yet started the trial of suspected Mumbai attackers.
Many books have been published whereby most writers have expressed doubts about 26/11. A German journalist Elias Davidsson in his book “The Betrayal of India: Revisiting the 26/11 Evidence” revealed that many of the India’s claims about (Mumbai attacks) – the terrorist attacks in its capital on November 26, 2008, lack truth. Davidsson was of the view that Indian state’s investigation of the attacks was an eye wash to blame Pakistan. He further claimed in the book published last year that the attackers used American telephone numbers when they unleashed the armed assault. The author further wrote: “It is highly plausible, that major institutional actors in India, the United States and possibly Israel, were complicit in conceiving, planning, directing and executing the attacks of 26/11; evidence of a deceptive investigation is even stronger”. He went on to suggest that Indian version was totally concocted, based on deceit and outright lies.
The book is based on incisive and critical analysis of the official narrative of 26/11 and the author has endeavored to go through court documents and testimonies of dozens of important witnesses and their linkages with media outbursts parroted by the Indian media. According to the author, the crime scenes were violated, with bodies hauled off before they could be examined. He claimed that the terrorists were armed with AK-47s were common, yet forensic study of the attack at the Cama Hospital, Mumbai failed to corroborate version of the AK-47 bullets. One of his conclusions from the book he stated was that India’s major institutions were suppressing the truth on 26/11. On the global front, India accuses Pakistani terrorists for planning and executing attacks in Mumbai, which Pakistan categorically denies. Unfortunately Pakistan’s former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has admitted that Pakistan was involved in 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
The author wrote: “On the basis of Indian narrative how easy it was to get a bonanza of funds and equipment for the Mumbai police. And why it was possible, given the framing of the event as an act of war for India’s armed forces to get an immediate 21 per cent hike in military spending with promises of continuing increases in subsequent years” (page 739 of the book). The book comprises 904 pages and is a must read who wish to know the truth about 26/11. Another academic, political commentator and American scholar Dr. Kevin Barret in an interview with Press TV had said: “The Indian government especially the extremist element has partnered with the elements of the US and Israeli Deep State in trying to smear he Kashmiri liberation struggle by creating false flag terrorism in India in which civilians are slaughtered.” Dr. Barret added that those attacks have been proven to be a false flag by the elements of the Indian government itself in partnership with the United States.”
