Ethnic prejudice always proved lethal in sub continent’s political history as it took the precious lives of thousands of innocents and brought absolute disaster to victim families. East Pakistan tragedy is the most relevant example , if at all decision making tiers and wannabe political campaigners of PTM are in a mood to learn some lessons for a change may be! Out of proportion blowing up of public miseries , to ignite the public sentiments by adding ethnic hatred, is not a new phenomenon . This cheap trend reminds us Shaikh Mujeeb ur Rehman , GM Syed , Altaf Hussain , Ajmal Khattak and many of the comrades of Pushtoon Cause movement who vanished in the dark pages of history after playing games for their foreign financiers . Who could recall today the fiery tone of Bangla Bandhu while addressing the huge gatherings and fanning hatred against the West Pakistan ! When prejudice takes over the mind venom starts flowing from tongue instead of words! Mujeeb said that he smelt Bengali crops from the roads of Islamabad . It was nothing quality stuff from a political leader rather a cheap phrase from an opportunist agitator who apparently demanded fair distribution of national resources and eventually ended up at division of country that too in a highly disgraceful manner. Mujib’s game destroyed thousands of families , earned embarrassment and enabled India to fully exploit the situation in her favor. In 1974, Bangla Bandhu, along with all family members present at home, was brutally assassinated by Bengali army . Picture of his dead body lying upside down at stairs speaks volumes about the final outcome of prejudice based venomous politics . Unfortunately , we have forgotten the poor Beharis who live a life worst than animals in the camps till today . No human rights activist finds time to raise voice for them . Hateful daughter of Mujib is now at the helm of affairs in Bengla Desh and trying hard to set new bench marks of political vendetta . An over rated female lawyer from our side once went to Bengla Desh to receive the award of her father granted in recognition of his services for the so called liberation movement led by Bangla Bandhu. Lady lawyer , famous for her over exaggerated human rights activism, did not utter a single word in favor of oppressed Biharis and felt no mercy for the 90 years old political activists hanging on gallows as a result of the extremely controversial trials influenced by Hasina Wajid . Such developments often expose the real face of so called liberal left wing creatures living upon foreign financial feed . Leaving aside the East Pakistan tragedy , let’s have a look upon so called nationalists active in remaining Pakistan . Who can deny the deceitful pathetic moves by Pushtoon Nationalists in mid 70s once they stood against very existence of Pakistan while having base in Afghanistan . This all ended up in absolute loss of common people and country . Nationalists and comrades earned a good amount of money by befooling the people . Now most of them are operating with the mask of democratic leaders . Altaf Hussain’ s MQM drama eventually proved the biggest RAW sponsored ethnic bloodshed plan ever in our history as it took every bit of good from Urban Sindh and pushed Urdu speaking population into troubled waters without any sailable boat . Baloch sub nationalists , as of today , offer nothing but a handful of separatists who often get killed in encounters or leave a highly toxic RAW signature from abroad in the form of sponsored video statements, social media activities and dubious events . Brahamdagh Bugti is the most relevant example in this case. It is a well proven fact that nationalists operating in our part of the world exploit the public sufferings over ethnic ground to spread a wave of dissatisfaction and violence . They never aim at solution !Rather they target the already weak national cohesion . Ethnic hatred is a weapon proved effective against our society in East Pakistan . Now in this context , sudden rise of PTM can not be taken simply on its face value that it is all about the rights of tribal people . Social media activism , coverage on foreign media dubious quarters and solidarity calls from Afghan official quarters rightly reminds us about the failed anti Pakistan adventures of 70s. Our decision making quarters should not relax upon such meaningful maneuvers once a hostile India and irritated USA is after Pakistan for many of the reasons of their interests. Bitter lesson of our history remains relevant today as well that neither ethnic hatred based politics proves fruitful , nor army can run the state affairs to fill up the political vacuum and above all none of the so called nationalist leaders, sitting in the lap of foreign masters, can be trusted upon .
