KARACHI, May 23: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has on Wednesday demanded to constitute a commission to probe allegations hurled by ousted premier and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif.
Terming Sharif’s accusations as ‘perilous’, senior PPP leader Maula Bakhsh Chandio has demanded unbiased investigation into the matter. “Nawaz Sharif will have to myriad answers after hurling these allegations”, asserted Chandio.
Chandio further questioned that if Nawaz Sharif had not obeyed orders, then why Pervez Rashid [former federal information minister] and Mushahid ullah Khan were forced to relinquish [their positions]?
“Nawaz Sharif should tell masses that why he had allowed Musharraf to flee abroad”, Chandio demanded while adding at the same time that Nawaz Sharif was making revelations when he was fearing imprisonment in graft references.
Chandio warned Sharif that he couldn’t escape this time by simply putting blame on others. NNI
