ISLAMABAD , June 10:Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday expresses exasperation over National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) prosecutor that there is now ample evidence to show that Avenfield apartments belonged to Nawaz Sharif since 1993.
Khan took to popular micro-blogging website Twitter and regretted existence of parallel justice systems in Pakistan in series of tweets.
He tweeted, “Statement by NAB prosecutor on Sunday that there is now ample evidence to show that Avenfield apartments belonged to Nawaz Sharif since 1993, shows how the law works differently for the ordinary citizens and for the powerful.
“PML-N Ministers & many media persons knew about these flats since 3 years when Panama leaks surfaced. After all, political meetings
and interviews were held there but they just watched as PM Nawaz Sharif lied about money laundering, committed fraud & forgery, made his children lie”, Khan asserted.
He added further, “Public money spent on SC hearings, JIT, NAB court & conviction still pending. This reflects collapse of morality; weak infrastructures. Where in a Western democracy would one see a PM indulging in lies, money laundering & fraud & then shamelessly claiming victimhood when exposed? -Agencies
