ISLAMABAD, June 10: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan has summoned enraged party workers at 3pm today (Sunday) after protests against unjust distribution of tickets intensified.
According to details, PTI chairman will try to address the reservations of the workers.
On the other hand, the angry workers have continued protest demonstration over ticket issue outside Imran Khan’s residence in Bani Gala.
The PTI candidates who weren’t issued party tickets for the forthcoming general elections while rejecting the decisions of party’s parliamentary board said that they were party’s die-hard workers.
PTI leader Ajmal Sabir Raja, who wants to contest election against former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar also reached Bani Gala along with his activists and staged protest.
Meanwhile, furious PTI supporters also staged protest in London for not giving party ticket to Atif Chaudhry, who left British nationality to participate in the general polls.
The protesters have demanded PTI Chief Imran Khan to replace Jamshed Iqbal Cheema with Atif Chaudhry in NA-127.-DNA
