MIRANSHAH, May 6: Four security personnel were martyred and eight others injured in two alleged terrorist attacks in North Waziristan district on Monday.
According to sources one security personnel was martyred and three others injured in a terrorist attack on vehicle of security forces in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan district. The martyred security person has been identified as Asif. Meanwhile the injured has been identified as Sepoy Waqar, Sepoy Fahar and Sepoy Arsalan. The injured have been shifted to Miranshah hospital.
Meanwhile the second incident occurred in Manzarkhel area of Tehsil Razmak in North Wazirista district. The alleged terrorists attacked the security forces convoy in which three security personnel were martyred and five others were injured. The martyred security forces personnel include Sepoy Ilyas, Sepoy Ali Hassan and Sepoy Khadim. The injured security personnel have been shifted in the nearby hospital for treatment. The security forces have started search operation after cordoning off the area to apprehend the culprits.
Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered against 12 members of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement including MNA Ali Wazir in Shewa police station of North Waziristan district.
According to details, the accused chanted slogans against the security forces during a protest few days back.-Sabah
