The State of Madina had one-party system. So has China in the world of today. Plural democracy is an aberration. If there had been elections in Hazrat Noah’s times or Hazrat Musa’s times, the prophets would have been soundly trounced.

Shall we start offering namaz in English or Urdu too? We are Muslims because we believe Quran is Allah’s kalaam. We read Quran in Arabic. Is there a single person inthe world who reads Shakespeare in Urdu or Balochi? Of course Allah has no specific language but Quran is in Arabic.

Is there another country where a MARCH like this has ever occurred-democratic or otherwise? Can any sane society allow writ of the state challenged by a crowd in the name of democracy? Was Lincoln any lesser democrat who retaliated to open revolt with a massive show of State Power?
