Pakistan is known for producing some of the best fast bowlers in world cricket, and they again showed a glimpse of this in the U19 World Cup game against Scotland.
A speedster naming Mohammad Wasim exhibited tremendous skills of pace bowling. The right-armer completely dominated by dismantling the Scotland batting lineup.
In his 7.5 overs, Wasim scalped five wickets for just 12 runs. His skillful bowling was supported by left-arm bowler Tahir Hussain who took three wickets.
The bestride performance by Pakistan’s bowlers resulted in bundling up the Scottish team on just 75 runs.
Without any surprises, the lowest score so far in the tournament was quickly chased down by Rohail Nazir-led side, and they won their first match by seven wickets.
Wasim, for his outstanding figures, got the ‘Player of the Match’ award.
