2/3 Nasim Hijazi was born Mohammad Sharif. When he died the sales figures of his novels had crossed 8 digits .Next to Allama Iqbal he is among the widest selling authors of the world. Some of his novels were translated in Arabic. Some were filmed .And some serialised on TV.

3/3 Daily Kohistan published from Pindi Lahore and Multan was launched by Nadim Hijazi. It was biggest newspaper outside Karachi. I joined Kohistan in 1961 and became its Editor in 1964. One of my greatest dream has been to revive Kohistan. But some dreams don’t materialize.
