Pakistan calls for resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with UNSC resolutions: Maleeha

NEW YORK, March 12: At the United Nations, Pakistan has called for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions as well as aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations Tehmina Janjua addressing the Human Rights Council in Geneva said that the Jammu and Kashmir dispute is one of the oldest, outstanding items on the United Nations Security Council agenda and it needs to be settled urgently.
She called upon the international human rights organisations including the Human Rights Council to fulfil their responsibility to protect and promote the human rights and fundamental freedoms of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.-Sabah
