Uzbek  authorities plan to open new consulates  in Russia

Uzbekistan plans to open new consulates in Russia and other foreign states. This follows from the draft roadmap for the implementation of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 – it was published on the electronic portal for discussing regulatory acts.
According to the document, five new consulates general of the republic should appear in Russia at once – in Samara, Astrakhan, Tula, Kaliningrad and Nizhny Novgorod. In addition, they also want to open one such institution each in Kazakhstan (in Shymkent), the Czech Republic (in Prague), Canada (in Ottawa) and South Korea (in Busan).
And the staff of already operating diplomatic and consular missions in some countries, including Russia, is planned to be increased.
