PM TERMS CHINA VISIT HISTORIC, DIFFERENT FROM PREVIOUS ONES
ISLAMABAD, February 7: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday while terming his meetings with Chinese leadership successful said that his visit to China was historic and different from previous visits.
According to sources, a meeting of party leaders and spokespersons was held under the chairmanship of PM Imran Khan and a detailed briefing was given on his China visit.
Federal Minister Asad Umar and Special Assistant on CPEC Khalid Mansoor gave a detailed briefing. The meeting was also briefed on the agreements reached in China visit.
PM Imran Khan said that Pakistan s position on world affairs was being appreciated, adding that this visit to China was historic and different from the previous visits.
“The meetings with the Chinese leadership were successful which would benefit Pakistan,” he said.
He said that China stands by Pakistan on political and geographical issues, adding that Beijing is going to play an important role in Pakistan s industrial development.
“China has also supported Pakistan s position on Kashmir and Afghanistan.”
Imran Khan said: “The corrupt gang in Pakistan is engaged in politics of personal interests, the world supported Pakistan’s position on the issue of Islamophobia.”-NNI
