– Forwards proposal on NA session to Speaker Asad Qaiser
ISLAMABAD, March 10: Federal government has decided to wrap up no-trust move against Prime Minister Imran Khan ahead of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) moot in Islamabad.
The decision was made at the government level that matters related to the no-trust move should be wrapped up before the OIC meeting as the country could not bear political turmoil at that time.
To thwart the vote of the no-confidence motion, the government Thursday proposed that after three days of debate, voting will be conducted next week.
The final decision on the proposal of the National Assembly Secretariat will be taken by Speaker Asad Qaiser. As per rules, an NA session on requisition has to be convened within 14 days.
