RAWALPINDI, March 21: Argentinian Ambassador to Pakistan Rodolfo J. Martin Saravia paid farewell call on Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Monday.
The Ambassador appreciated successes of operation Zarb-e-Azb and efforts of Pakistan for regional security.
The Army Chief appreciated his efforts in fostering Pak-Argentine relations during his twelve years long tenure.
Commander Resolute Support Mission and United States Forces Afghanistan General John Nicholson also called on Chief of Army Staff General. Matters of mutual interest and regional security with particular emphasis on coordination along Pak-Afghan border and reconciliation process in Afghanistan were discussed. The newly appointed Commander Resolute Support Mission and United States Forces-Afghanistan also appreciated successes of operation Zarb-e-Azb and efforts of Pakistan for regional security.-Sabah
