Says Musharraf not gone abroad under any deal
LAHORE, March 21: Former president Pervez Musharraf has observed he lives for Pakistan and will die for Pakistan saying that he has not gone abroad under any deal or agreement and he will return to home when doctors allow him.
” My life and death is for the sake of Pakistan and people of Pakistan. I have not fled from Pakistan nor have i struck any deal or agreement with any one. I am in Dubai for medical check up. When doctors allow me I will return to Pakistan”, he said this in his telephonic conversation with PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain here Monday.
Talking to media men here at his residence Shujaat said Pervez Musharraf had invited him to visit Dubai. I will take final decision for proceeding to Dubai after consultation with party leaders.
He held that politics did not come under discussion during telephonic talks with Musharraf. If Pervez Musharraf has gone outside the country he will do return to Pakistan, he added. No option was left with government except sending Musharraf abroad, he underlined.
Shujaat said that some people within MQM are toeing the line of foreign elements. Mustafa Kamal should name his party “MQM Pakistan”, he maintained. When all get united then Pakistan will ehco with “go”, go”.
He said blaming Rangers will be tantamount to opposing army. Whenever some one will become aspirant for premiership then grand alliance of political parties will be forged, he remarked.
He stated convening joint session of both the houses of parliament on Musharraf issue will be unconstitutional. -Online/Sabah
