ISLAMABAD, March 25: Foreign Office (FO) summoned Indian High Commissioner (HC) and lodged strong protest over arrest of RAW’s serving Indian Navy commander from Balochistan.
According to sources a protest dossier was also given to the Indian HC.
Sources said Foreign Office officials apprised Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale over the arrest of RAW’s serving Indian Navy commander from Balochistan. Pakistan also sought clarification from the envoy over Indian activities in the province.
Diplomatic sources said that FO summoned Indian HC and said that no compromise can be made on the integrity of Pakistan and espionage by India in Balochistan is not acceptable. Pakistan is most probably to raise this issue in foreign secretaries level meeting with India.
Security agencies had arrested Bhushan Yadavis a serving officer in the Indian Navy and deputed to RAW from Balochistan on Thursday. Counter Intelligence Wing of ISI had captured Bhushan Yadavis.
Bhushan Yadavis got commission in Indian Navy in 1991 and he is resident of Mumbay and was working under the name of Hussain Mubarak Patel. Mission against China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in Balochistan was assigned to this notorious RAW spy. According to sources, the man was arrested by a Pakistani intelligence agency in Balochistan three days ago and he was later shifted to Islamabad for investigation.
The arrested agent of RAW had contacts with separatist groups operating in Balochistan, the sources said, adding that he was a commander in the Indian Navy.
During initial investigation, he confessed his links with separatist, sectarian and terrorist organisations in Karachi and Balochistan
Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said that the captured agent was an active Indian serviceman who was active in Balochistan with an aim to destabilise Pakistan. Maps of different installations and sites were also recovered from his possession.-Online
