FATA Secretariat recommends development projects worth Rs. 73bn

ISLAMABAD, March 27: The Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) Secretariat has sent recommendations to the Federal government for including developmental projects worth Rs. 73 billion for Tribal areas in Public Sector Development Program (PSDP).
The developmental projects including Rs. 22 billion for Bara Dam, Rs. 10 billion for FATA Grid Station, Rs. 7 billion for the projects of China Pakistan Economic Corridor and Rs. 7 billion for Gilgai Muhmad guard road. A total seventeen developmental projects were included in it.
The FATA Secretariat demanded provision of special budget for FATA only because FATA faced number of destruction and devastations in going war against terrorism.-Online
